Ryan Bolger is the Associate Professor of Church in Contemporary Culture at Fuller Theological Seminary. I was a teacher's assistant for him while working on my Master's in Theology at Fuller and he was my doctoral advisory.
He wrote the book "Emerging Churches: Creating Christian Community in Postmodern Cultures" with Eddie Gibbs, which was a turning point in my own thinking about how to help the Quaker tradition initiate change from the inside in ways.
He is also the author of Practice Movements in Global Information Culture. An article that has further influenced my thinking in terms of how practice movements can shape the church into the future.
